At least eight people have been killed and 25 others injured in a suicide attack on a convoy belonging to NATO in Afghanistan.
Officials say, the victims were all civilians, including three U.S service members.
A NATO spokesperson said the attack on the group of military vehicles happened next to the U.S embassy during the morning rush hour.
The NATO-led resolute support mission says the victims are in a stable condition and are being treated at coalition medical facilities.
The blast follows a threat by the Taliban to target foreign forces, however, no group has claimed responsibility for the bombing.
