The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly Hon. Monday Igbuya has been impeached.
The impeachment occurred on Thursday when 22 out of the 29 members of the House signed to Hon. Igbuya’s removal.
Meanwhile, the lawmaker representing Okpe constituency, Sheriff Oborevwori has been elected as the new Speaker.
