#NigeriaDecides: Buhari leading in presidential election in Kogi

The Presidential candidate of All Progressive Congress Mohammadu Buhari, is ahead in vote tally in Kogi state.
Mr. Buhari has so far garnered 109,827 votes against the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Goodluck Jonathan, who has 84,555 votes so far.
The figures are from 11 out of the 21 local government areas of the state. Results from the remaining 10 local councils are still being awaited.
The figures were released by the Independent National Electoral Commission in Lokoja, the state capital, on Sunday night
The result indicated that Mr. Buhari won in six local government areas,while Mr. Jonathan won in five.
The APC candidate won Ogori/ Magongo, Adavi, Okehi, Idah, Mopamuro, and Dekina while his PDP challenger won in Yagba West, Igalamela /Odolu, Bassa, Kabba/Bunu and Ibaji.
The results are Ogori/ Magongo: APC-2,321, PDP-1,934; Adavi: APC-22,659, PDP-7,767; Okehi: -APC- 17,801, PDP- 5,808; Idah: APC-10,445, PDP 6,113; Mopamuro: APC-3,881, PDP-2,793, and Dekina: APC-18,189, PDP-13,835.
Others are Yagba West -APC-6,231, PDP-6,639; Igalamela: OdoluAPC-6,075, PDP-7,285; Bassa-APC 7,412, PDP-9,964; Kabba/Bunu: APC 8737, PDP-9009; and Ibaji:APC 6076, PDP-13, 358
