Bukola Saraki Decleared Winner Of Kwara Senatorial Seat

The Senator representing Kwara Central Senatorial District, Dr Bukola Saraki of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has been re-elected as the Kwara central senatorial seat in 2015 senatorial election.
Saraki emerged winner of the Senatorial election with 118,879 votes, defeating his closest co-contestant from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dr Abdulrasak Abdulrahman, who polled 66,864.
After announcing the result of the election, Collation Officer, Dr Mrs Kemi Ahmed, declared Saraki winner, having polled the highest vote cast in the election.
Results for Kwara South and Kwara North Senatorial seats are being awaited.
Similarly, the speaker of the Kwara State House of Assembly, Atunwa Rasak, of the APC has emerged winner of the Asa/Ilorin West Federal Constituency.
Atunwa polled 58,227 votes to defeat Mr Sheriff Shagaya of the PDP, who polled 31,467 votes.

Results for other House of Representatives election in the State are being awaited.
