He says a lot of voters were unable to get their names from where they registered so they had to trek long distances to locate where their numbers were.
Saturday, March 28, 2015: 8:10pm: Our correspondent, Austin Okon-Akpan, gives election update from Ayobo-Ipaja area in Lagos. There was a large turnout of voters but there was a male citizen whose details on the INEC record show him as female. This led to heated arguments with the INEC officials. He was prevented from voting.
He also says Alimosho was peaceful as residents were able to successfully cast their votes.

Saturday, March 28, 2015: 8:05pm: Reports confirm that in Abia State, accreditation was peaceful as people waited patiently in long queues. The State Governor, Theodore Orji, has also voted alongside his wife. He, however, complained about the logistic challenges and card reader issues.

On reports of bomb blast in Enugu, President Jonathan said there was no bomb blast in the state. “I spoke to the governor of the state and he said there was no blast”.
