Chinese kidnapped in Nigeria released

A Chinese, Chui Fu Long, who was kidnapped in Nasarawa State last week, has been released.
Mr. Long, who was a project manager at CGC Construction Company, was found near Chikara, along Lokoja-Abuja road, off Abaji Area Council of Abuja, the Nasarawa Police spokesperson, Ismaila Numan, said.
The spokesperson said Mr. Long was released at about 8 p.m. on Friday night after being held captive for four days. He said investigation are still ongoing to ensure the arrest of perpetrators.
PREMIUM TIMES reported how seven gunmen kidnapped the Chinese worker at a construction site in Adadu, off Toto Local Government Area at about 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
Although the police did not state if any ransom was paid, a source among security agencies in the state said Mr. Long was released after an undisclosed sum was paid as ransom.
