Review: Social Media Week Held In Lagos

The Social Media Week is an event that brings together top leaders, key stakeholders and the public to explore different pertinent issues with social, cultural and economic impact on social media.
The event is held every February and September in more than 20 cities in the world.
More than 25,000 people over the course of five days were hosted at the Landmark Event Centre, Victoria Island Lagos.

The African continent is now seen synonymous to a mobile continent as a result of the rapid increase in the use of mobile devices and mobile phones have been key to economic development in the last five years.
However, according to research African mobile phone internet is set to increase to 20 folds in the next five years.
Tech Trends looks at some of the sessions that were held at the Social Media Week in Lagos.
