Fayose Provides Portable Water For Aramoko Ekiti Residents

Residents of Aramoko community in Ekiti State, South West Nigeria, have heaved a sigh of relief as they will no longer have to walk the distance to get water.
The government has provided portable water for the residents and Governor Ayodele Fayose has assured them that the taps will keep running.
Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose restated his administration’s commitment to make pipe borne water available to all homes in the state, regardless of raging economic challenges.
Fayose stated this when he paid a visit to the town to have a first-hand look at the resuscitation of pipe-borne water to the communities.
Governor Fayose, on arrival in Aramoko Ekiti, dumped his official car to ride on a motorbike round some of the water fetching points, where he said that he was glad that his administration redeemed his electioneering campaign promises to the people of the town.
He added that his government would not relent in making life easier for the people of the state.
The water project comes to the people of Aramoko Ekiti, the local government headquarters of Ekiti West Local Government, 12 years after being in drought of pipe-borne water.
Residents of Aramoko Ekiti commended Gov. Fayose for mitigating their suffering in assessing portable water.
