The three leading governorship candidates in Nasarawa State, north central region of Nigeria, made a surprise campaign appearance at the Mada Cultural Festival in Akwanga, where they all canvased for votes ahead of the polls.
Nasarawa State Governor, Tanko Al-Makura, of the All Progressive Congress (APC) asked the people of Mada to re-elect him based on his performance during his first term.
While the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Yusuf Agabi and All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), Labaran Maku, both sought the people’s mandate for the forthcoming April 11 governorship election.
