Jos – As collation of Plateau State governorship election results in eight local government gets underway, there is heightened tension among political gladiators and residents in the state.
Results of nine local government areas have earlier been announced. The APC won in five, while the PDP won in four.
PDP gubernatorial candidate, Senator Gyang Pwajok made a sudden appearance at the Independent Electoral Commission of Nigeria, INEC, headquarters where results are being awaited.
His appearance however provoked curiosity as he had a brief talk with the State Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, Mr. Godwin Kwanga.
About 20 minutes later, the APC candidate, Barr. Simon Lalong also came in and left a few minutes later after also holding talks with the REC.
