Coach Kennedy Boboye is looking forward to playing in front of the Ocendo Warriors supporters in their next NPFL encounter against the Desert Warriors.
Abia Warriors coach, Kennedy Boboye has set his sight on the next NPFL fixture, which will see his side take on El-Kanemi Warriors at Umuahia.
The former Sunshine Stars gaffer started the new season on a positive note after his team forced debutant's Ikorodu United to a draw at the Onikan Stadium, Lagos.
"We came to Lagos with a target to pick up the maximum points, we got the first goal but we conceded due to lack of concentration. However, starting the season with at least a point is encouraging and we can build on that," Boboye told Goal.
Abia Warriors are currently in their third season in the NPFL, they may compound the woes of their visitors, El-Kanemi Warriors in Umuahia. The Desert Warriors lost their opener at home to Wikki Tourist and will make the long road trip from northern Nigeria to the east by midweek.
"Our focus is to take each match as they come. Playing in front of the home fans will be nice because they will add some spice to it but most importantly we've got to hit our target which is to secure the maximum points," Boboye concluded.
