Embassy Dismisses Alleged Shortage of 32-page Nigerian Passport In SA

CHANNELS TV
The Nigerian Consul General in Johannesburg has dismissed claims by some Nigerians that they are being forced to acquire the 64 page passport against their wish.
In the past few weeks, many have complained that at the point of acquiring new or renewing passports, they have been allegedly told that the 32-page option was unavailable.
Some are also asking government to extend the passport duration to 10 years instead of the current five.
The authorities insist this is untrue because both options are available at the mission and are being issued as required by citizens.
