Gotze outlines Bosz's BVB philosophy

BVB demolished Borussia Monchengladbach 6-1 last Saturday with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang bagging a hat trick, while Maximilian Philipp snared a brace and Julian Weigl got the sixth.

The results see Dortmund move two points clear at the top of the table ahead of Hoffenheim and three points clear of reigning Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich. The Bavarians dropped points after drawing 2-2 at home to Wolfsburg.

As such, Gotze takes the view that Bosz's playing philosophy is falling into place at the Westfalenstadion. He told the Bundesliga's official website, "We are all playing at a good level and trying to absorb Peter Bosz's philosophy. And it’s working very well!

"Turning defence into attack, winning the ball back quickly, possession, pressing from the front, and we did all of this well against Gadbach. We did it very well!"

In addition, the Germany star says he is happy with the club's position in the league, adding, "Of course that's nice for us, but it doesn't have any real meaning at this time. We just want to win our games, and we've done that. But there's still a long way to go. It’s very nice right now, but we know it's still a long way to the finish line."
