The Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo is presiding over the National Economic Council meeting holding in Abuja.
The council during the meeting proposed that the Federal Government should hand over the federal roads to states for repairs and also allocate budgets for such roads to the state government to relieve the burden from the centre.
The Governors believe that the handover would bring succour to Nigerians as they hope to hasten the roads reconstruction through Public-private partnerships.
