Train passengers chase reporter to his death

Lagos - A reporter was crushed to death by an oncoming vehicle after being pursued by some passengers hanging on a moving train  at the Ikeja Along bus stop, Lagos, Punch reports.

A witness account said the reporter was chased alongside another journalist by the train passengers after accusing them of trying to film them on the moving train in order to expose them.

The Lagos State Traffic Management Authority officials at the bus stop also confirmed the death of the journalist, adding that illegal train passengers on moving trains have formed the habit of molesting anyone suspected to be filming them.

The victim’s corpse was said to have been deposited at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja.
