CNPP condemns assault on Ekiti judge

Abuja - The Conference of Nigerian Political Parties (CNPP) has condemned  recent assault on Justice John Adeyeye of the Ekiti State High Court in Ado-Ekiti on September 25 during the inaugural sitting of the state Election Tribunal.
This is contained in a letter by the conference to the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), signed by Osita Okechukwu, CNPP National Publicity Secretary in Abuja on Sunday.

The conference condemned the tragic assault on the temple of justice in Ekiti State.
It called on the CJN and Chairman of the Nigeria Judicial Council to, as a matter of urgent national importance, relocate the two courts to Abuja, for speedy dispensation of justice.
