The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, John Oyegun, has credited the containment of the Ebola virus in Nigeria to the pro-activeness of APC governors.

Speaking at an emergency National Executive Committee meeting in Abuja, Oyegun commended Lagos State Governor, Babatunde Fashola, and Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State for the prompt and efficient manner in which they responded to the health crises.
Also speaking on the party’s preparation for the 2015 general elections, Oyegun said that the APC is not zoning the Presidency to any part of the country.
He said that the more the people vying for the presidential ticket, the better for the party.

The APC Chairman also said that the party was worried about the recent crises in Ekiti State and is keenly monitoring the situation.
