Dogara Seeks Improved Crowd Control Mechanism During Hajj

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Yakubu Dogara, has asked Saudi Arabian authorities to improve its crowd control mechanism to prevent any future occurrence of the stampede during the Hajj.

The Speaker made this request at a meeting with members of the Parliamentary Advisory Council Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Members of the Council also met with Senate President, Dr Bukola Saraki, where they commiserated with the government and people of Nigeria over the deaths during this year’s Hajj.
