The Delta State governorship election tribunal sitting in Asaba the state capital has thrown out the petition by the Labour Party against the PDP and has asked the Labour Party to pay the sum of 50,000 naira each to the respondents in the case.
The first respondent in the case is the Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa while the second and third respondents are the PDP and the electoral commission, INEC.
The lead judge has commenced delivering judgment in the case brought by the All Progressives Congress (APC) against the PDP’s candidate Ifeanyi Okowa.
