Kogi Politics: Wada Pledges Consolidation On Agriculture Programme

Kogi State Governor, Idris Wada, has assured the people of the state that his administration would consolidate on agriculture programme in his second term in office.
The governor’s statement is coming as various political parties in Kogi State, north-central Nigeria prepare for the forthcoming governorship election scheduled to hold on November 21.
Governor Wada, who is the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) made the promise when he took his campaign train to Kupa South in Lokoja Local Government Area of the state.
In company of his Deputy, Yomi Awoniyi, and his wife, Hajia Lami Wada, he pledged that his administration would focus on rural developmental projects if re-elected.
The Director General of the campaign group, Senator Tunde Ogbeha, as well as the Vice Chairman of the party, Engineer Sam Abenemi, also noted that PDP would transform the state if the governor is elected for a second term.
