Yobe Police Command Decorates Six Senior Officers

The Yobe State Police Command has decorated six newly promoted senior officers of the command.

One was elevated from Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) to Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP), while the remaining five were promoted from Chief Superintendent of Police (CSP) to the rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP).
Decorating the promoted officers, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr Markus Danladi, said that the promotion was an added responsibility on the officers and challenged them to justify the confidence reposed in them.
He noted that the added responsibilities bestowed on them were based on their commitment to hard work and challenged them to do more to salvage the country from its current security challenge.
Mr Markus also tasked the upcoming officers to work assiduously towards feeling the vacuums created by the promoted officers
Deputy Commissioner of Police, Mr Vwamhi Felix, expressed appreciation to the Inspector-General of Police (IGP) and the Police Service Commission for considering them worthy of the promotion.

He promised to work hard towards the fight against insurgency and the restoration of peace in the state and the country as a whole.
