Fayemi declares curfew in Ekiti

Ado Ekiti -  Following Friday’s violence that erupted in Ado Ekiti, Gov Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State has imposed a 7pm to 7am curfew across the state, reports Punch.

The violence was believed to be caused by loyalists of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the National Union of Road Transport Workers ( NURTW).

They were protesting the killing of a former Ekiti State chairman of the National Union of Road Transport Workers, Omolafe Aderiye, who was killed on Thursday.
