Muhammad Ali’s body has arrived at a funeral home in Louisville, Kentucky.
Earlier, a hearse met a chartered aircraft at the Louisville airport after it made its way from Arizona where the boxing champion died on Friday.
Muhammad Ali’s hometown of Louisville will honour the former boxing champion on June 10 with a procession through the Kentucky City and public funeral at a sports arena.
The public service for Ali, one of the most celebrated figures of the 20th century whose death brought accolades from around the world, will feature eulogies by former president Bill Clinton, broadcaster Bryant Gumbel and comedian billy crystal.
Muhammad Ali died at the age of 74.
He was suffering from a respiratory illness, a condition that was complicated by Parkinson’s disease.
