Niger Delta Leaders Want Oshiomhole To Represent Them At Presidency

Edo State Governor, Adams Oshiomhole, has appealed to leaders and freedom fighters in the Niger Delta to place the fight for an end to the pollution in the Niger Delta ahead of the call for compensation for the degradation in the region.
The Governor made the call when members of host communities of Nigeria producing oil and gas led by former military governor of old Rivers State and Amanyanabor of Twon Brass, King Alfred Diete-Spiff, paid him a visit at the Edo State government house in Benin City the state capital.
Chairman of the association, Dr Michael Emuh, said that they were in Benin representing the interest of all the 25 freedom fighters in the Niger Delta as well as that of the people of the region to solicit his support to represent their interest to represent their interests to the Presidency.
