The Flamingoes’ boss has been engaged to help the Abuja based team bounce back after a poor run of results in the Nigeria second tier division. Nigeria U17 Women’s head coach Bala Nikyu has been appointed as technical adviser of Supreme Court.
The Abuja based outfit are aiming to secure a ticket to the Nigeria Professional Football League and have boosted their technical crew with Nikyu's appointment.
Nikyu replaces coach Joachim Osuji, who was relegated to an assistant role following the Nigeria National League side's second home defeat in 1-0 loss against Dream FC in week 5 tie.
Until his appointment, coach Nikyu had previously helped Wikki Tourists, Federal Road Safety and Plateau United gain promotion and he would be hoping to do same with the Apex boys.
At his unvieling, team's general manager Tolulope Oguntimehin is confident the Abuja-based side will bounce back with the new coaching crew headed by Nikyu.
“As a club, we always want to put smiles on the faces of our fans that believe and support their darling team. That’s why we are putting in spirited effort to ensure compact playing pattern," Oguntimehin said.
"Yes, it has not been rosy so far perhaps due to how one or two things went wrong, I strongly assure that our glory days will soon be back with the new coaching arrangement headed by experienced-coach Bala.”
Coach Bala promised to champion immediate resurgence of the club and assured he will ensure they compete favourably against the upcoming opponents.  Supreme Court will face Gombe United in their week six encounter at the Pantami Stadium and they have four point from five games played so far.
