Lebron James has joined other NBA players in pulling out the Rio Olympic Games.
The 31-year-old informed USA basketball that he is opting out of consideration for the U.S. Olympic basketball team.
James led the Cleveland Cavaliers to a dramatic comeback victory over the Golden State Warriors in the NBA finals, earning Most Valuable Player in the process.
He said he will use the period to rest ahead of the next season.
Stephen Curry, Russell Westbrook, James Harden and Chris Paul are some of the NBA players that have opted out of the Olympics.
