Boko Haram Kidnap Over 40 Youths In Borno

The Boko Haram militants have again abducted over 40 youths in a remote village of Malari off South Borno, North East Nigeria,  fleeing resident said.

Malari is a village in Damboa Local Government of Borno state.
Witnesses said the abductors arrived Malari community on Wednesday at about 8pm and abducted over 40 youths.
The witness who fled to Maiduguri said the dreaded militants  stormed the village forcefully gathering all males in the village for sermon and  later went  away with over 40 youths between the ages of 10 to 23.
“They gathered us in front at the residents of the village head for preaching, after which they went away with over 40 of our unmarried youths between the ages of 10 to 23 years,” the witness revealed.
He  revealed that the youths were stocked in two Hilux vehicles and headed towards their hideouts in Sambisa forest, some 20 kilometers away.
He also  said three of his sons were among those taken away by the dreaded sect members.
It was confirmed that  many of the villagers have fled the community for fear of further attack.

Several able youths both boys and girls have been taken away in the trouble north east states of Adamawa, Borno and Yobe states by the insurgents in an efforts to strengthen their military might.
