In a bid to curtail any threat to the peace and security of Plateau state ahead of the Eid-El-Kabir celebrations, The Special task Force, STF, has raided Rikkos, a suburb of Jos North local government area of Plateau state.
About 82 Persons were arrested following the mop up operations. Over 70 of those arrested are not Nigerians but from a neighboring West-African country who have gone ahead to obtain the National identity card.
Our investigation reveals that the Nigerian Immigration services, Plateau state Command are reluctant to take custody of those arrested as the suspects are still believed to be in the custody of the Special task force.
When Contacted the Special task force will not give further details on the operations
