German international, Bastian Schweinsteiger, has returned to the first squad training with his old teammates at Manchester United.
The World Cup winner had trained alone or with the club’s under-23s since Jose Mourinho was appointed to manage the Red Devils in the summer.
The 32-year-old midfielder last played for the United in March, when Louis van Gaal was manager.
He had said in an interview that he had no personal problems with Coach Mourinho, and that Manchester United would be his last club in Europe.
Meanwhile, teammate Luke Shaw described the former German skipper as a big influence for the upcoming generation.
“It’s great to see him back. We found out the news a couple of days ago.
“He’s a big influence in the dressing room and obviously on the pitch, especially for the young players like myself,” BBC quoted Shaw as saying.
