The Algeria Football Federation has sacked the Head Coach of the country’s national football team, Milovan Rajevac.
Rajevac was relieved of his duties on Tuesday following the team’s 1-1 draw against Cameroun on Sunday.
Assistant coaches Nabil Neghiz and Yazid Mansouri are expected to take charge of the team on an interim basis until a successor is appointed.
Algeria reached the last 16 of the 2014 World Cup but now sit at the bottom of their Russia 2018 qualifying group which has Nigeria, Cameroon and Zambia.
The situation appears difficult as only the group winners qualify for the finals.
Milovan Rajevac has been in charge for a little over three months.
