CHANNELS TV
Andrea Dovizioso has secured pole position for the Malaysian Grand Prix.
The Ducati rider made the feat on Saturday when he put in a late flying lap ahead of Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo at a wet Sepang circuit.
He took his fifth pole in the premier class of grand prix racing in two minutes, 11.485 seconds.
On the other hand, Yamaha riders Rossi and Lorenzo came second and third place.
Honda rider Marc Marquez had skipped Friday’s second practice after suffering from stomach bug.
However, he would line up fourth for the second to the last round of the championship.
The world champion would be joined on the second row by Cal Crutchlow and Ducati’s Andrea Iannone.
