Nigeria’s top opposition party, the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) has taken a swipe at the All Progressives Congress (APC)-led administration over the nation’s economy, which has formally gone into recession.
In a statement, the PDP accused the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari of destroying the economy, adding that Nigeria is in its worst economic state in 29 years.
The party adds that the situation is worsened by the fact that every sphere of the Nigerian socio-political space is negatively affected, owing to the implementation of the “administration’s archaic and incoherent economic policies”.
