Djokovic Says Russian Doping Scandal Is Bad For Sports

World number one tennis player, Novak Djokovic, says the doping scandal engulfing Russia is not good for sports.
The world anti-doping agency has accused Russia of running a state-sponsored doping programme, which led to dozens of Russian athletes being banned from the Olympics, including the entire track-and-field team.
Djokovic, the winner of the 2016 Australian and French open titles, believes the scandal has been damaging for all involved.
Meanwhile, the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) say they are not the “bad guys” in the doping scandal that has rocked Russian sport ahead of the 2016 Rio Olympics.
There will be no Russian weightlifters at the Rio Olympics after CAS rejected the country’s appeal against a ban imposed by the International Weightlifting Federation.
The Russian team were banned last week after the IWF confirmed the integrity of weightlifting has been seriously damaged on multiple times and levels by the Russians.
