ES Sétif, Enyimba, Al-Ahly, Zamalek and Wydad Casablanca are set to discover their African fate in Cairo, Egypt.
Enyimba, Zamalek and Al-Ahly will find out at Tuesday's draw in Egypt whom they will face in the group stage of the Caf Champions League.
With seedings, pots and country restrictions out of the way – except for Zamalek and Al-Ahly who are from the same country, anyone could be paired against anyone else as the competition moves firmly into the money spinning stage, with the draw set to take place at around 12:30 GMT in Cairo.
Zambia’s Zesco United are the only team among the eight surviving sides not to have won the championship, while AS Vita would be eyeing their first triumph since 1973 where they edged Asante Kotoko in the final.
Clubs cannot be drawn against teams from their own country until the semi-finals or clubs they faced in the group stage, meaning there is no possibility of Zamalek facing Egypt , while ASEC Mimosas and AS Vita will be seen as the most generous possibilities to draw.
The eight teams are drawn into two groups of four. Each group is played on a home-and-away round-robin basis. The winners and runners-up of each group advance to the semi-finals.
