The Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has appealed to all Nigerians to be patient with the All Progressives Congress and Buhari led administration to fulfill all its campaign promises to Nigerians.
The Governor made the appeal on Sunday at an interdenominational service held at the Government House Chapel in Owerri, the capital of Imo State, to mark the Democracy Day and also his fifth year in office as the Governor of Imo state.
‘A New Nigeria’
Governor Okorocha said the Buhari-led administration at the moment was breaking down the faulty foundation built by previous government to give way for a better foundation that would give birth to a new Nigeria.
He noted that his achievements in five years in office had surpassed that of his predecessors and that his programmes and policies had impacted the lives and well being people of Imo State.
The Deputy Governor, Eze Madumere, also called for unity and love amongst Nigerians.
He expressed optimism that the budget would bring about a new Nigeria.
