Siberia helicopter crash: At least 10 oil workers dead

BBC News
At least 10 oil workers have been killed in a helicopter crash in the Krasnoyarsk region of Siberia, Russian officials say.
The civilian Mi-8 helicopter was carrying the workers to state oil company Rosneft's Vankor oilfield. There were 25 people were on board. Russian media said that the reason for the crash is unclear.
The helicopter is reported to have crashed on a frozen river. Snowmobiles evacuated injured people.
It came down 10km (6.2 miles) from the town of Igarka in Krasnoyarsk region. All three crew members were killed, officials said.
The helicopter was dropping off and collecting rotation workers at the remote Vankor site. In winter this can only be done by landing on ice.
