The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA) has directed striking health workers to resume work.
President of the Medical and Dental Consultants Association of Nigeria, Mr Steven Oluwole, who announced the directive of the NMA after a National Executive Council meeting which was held at the weekend, also decried the effects of incessant industrial actions by health workers on the sector.
The Union urged the Federal Government to resolve all lingering issues in the sector as well as appoint someone who has both medical and managerial experience as Minister of Health so that the sector can deliver on its expectations.
