Ajimobi Reveals Plan For Health Insurance Scheme In Oyo

The Oyo State Governor, Abiola Ajimobi, says the next four years will be used to strengthen preventive health care services across the state with measures to make quality healthcare delivery affordable to all, especially the vulnerable groups within the state.
Governor Abiola Ajimobi made this known to Channels Television in his office in Ibadan while highlighting the cardinal programmes of his 2nd term.
He added that a new insurance scheme coordinated by the state will be rolled out soon where with just 100 naira monthly premium, residents will have access to various options of medical care including drug provision.
Ajimobi further disclosed that all the general hospitals will be upgraded while the health centres will be refurbished and upgraded to meet the needs of the people in any part of the state.
While expressing confidence at the manpower availability and development in the health sector, the Governor promised that more hands would be engaged where need be.
