Trump Backs Down On Border Wall Funding

CHANNELS TV
It seems like the U.S. President, Donald Trump, is ready to scrap plans to find cash for his border wall in this week’s spending bill.
The President’s close adviser, Kellyanne Conway, said funding for the wall would be left out of a budget measure that must pass by Friday.
Democrats had threatened to block the bill if money is earmarked for the wall, so its omission may now avert a government shutdown.
However, the President is insisting on twitter that he still supports the wall and that it will be built.
Meanwhile, the White House has criticised a ruling that blocks President Donald Trump’s order barring funding for cities that shelter illegal immigrants.
A San Francisco Judge placed the January executive order in limbo, but the White House is vowing to appeal.
