Former Senate Leader, Victor Ndoma-Egba, has been appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari as the Chairman of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).
Mr Ndoma-Egba, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), who hails from Cross River State, takes over from Bassey Ewa-Henshaw, also from the state.
Also appointed is a former Deputy Governor of Akwa Ibom State, Nsima Ekere, as the Managing Director of the commission.
He succeeds Ibim Semenitari, who has been the acting Managing Director since December 2015.
