The Nigeria National League side eliminated the Nigeria Profressional Football League leaders from the competition in Lokoja on Wednesday.
Crown FC have sent Wikki Tourist packing from the 2016 Federation Cup following a 4-3 quarter-final victory via penalty shoot-out at the Kogi Confluence Stadium, Lokoja on Wednesday.
Both sides failed to be seperated after a goalless draw at full time, but it was Fatai Osho's side who triumphed over Abdul Maikaba's men on penalties to seal their place in the semi-final.
Wikki were impressive in the encounter, creating several goal scoring chances, but their second tier foes were brilliantly clinical to hold their own till the blast of the whistle.
With the victory, Crown added Wikki Tourists to their list of prominent casualties after they ousted Niger Tournadoes and Enugu Rangers in the Round of 32 and 16 respectively.
For crashing Wikki, securing the Nigeria topflight league title would be paramount after their title dreams for a season double were shattered in Lokoja. The Ogbomoso-based outfit have now reached the last four of the competition for the first time in their history and remain the only surviving NNL side in the mix for Cup glory.
