Cross River Govt Begins Repair Of FG Roads

The Cross River State government has started  intervention work on some of the failed Federal roads in the state.
Some of the roads being fixed include: Akeke Iwuru, Adim Axis of the Calabar-Ikom highway and bad spots along the Calabar-Itu highway.
The intervention efforts were being supervised by a director in the Cross River State Ministry of Works, Engineer Godwin Akeke.
Akeke said that the objective of the state government was to ameliorate the sufferings of motorists who ply the roads.
He added that other road agencies were on ground to see that the intervention process goes smoothly as directed by Governor Ben Ayade.
Motorists plying the roads have commended the efforts of the state government and called for the Federal Government’s support to complement the development.
