Portugal have edged past Poland 5 – 3 on penalties to proceed to the Semi Final of the Euro 2016 on-going in France.
Bayern Munich forward, Robert Lewandowski set the Biało-czerwoni on the lead scoring the second fastest goal in Euro history.
However, Renato Sanches redeemed the hope of the Portuguese with an equalizing goal in the 33rd minute.
The game lasted 1-1 till the end of the first half and subsequently ended draw till the final whistle was blown.
Jakub Blaszczykowski lost Poland’s fourth penalty shootout just as Ricardo Quaresma sealed Portugal’s victory.
Portugal will face the winner between Wales and Belgium in the Semi-Finals.
