Reactions Trail NPFL Matchday 10 Results

CHANNELS TV
While some coaches of various clubs in the NPFL are happy with their team, others have given reasons for their failure in the Matchday 10 fixtures.
Giwa FC Head Coach, Gbenga Ogunbote, says the determination of his players was the reason they beat the former NPFL champions, Kano Pillars.
The Jos Elephants defeated the Pyramid City side 2-0 at the Rwang Pam stadium in Plateau State.
Ogunbote said that the victory was a hard earned one as Kano Pillars were one of the toughest teams in the Nigerian Professional Football League (NPFL).
In his reaction, Kano Pillars Coach, Mohammed Ganaru, raised issues about Giwa FC’s waterlogged pitch, which he said was responsible for the defeat his side suffered.

Goals from central forwards, David Sunday and Moses Opitoke, proved enough to hand Giwa FC their first ever victory against the Kano based club.
Kano Pillars are currently 9th on the NPFL table with 15 points from nine league games.
Akwa United Coach, Ere Dokubo, admitted that his boys lost several scoring chances, as the 2015 Federation Cup champions suffered another home defeat in the top flight division.

However, Coach Dokubo was confident that his side would bounce back from the defeats ahead of their next clash against Niger Tornadoes.

With the scores levelled at 1-1, Abia Warriors took advantage of a defensive error by the host to secure their victory.
Elsewhere, Rivers United technical adviser, Stanley Eguma, expressed relief to have picked another three points against El-Kanemi Warriors.
After being handed a three-game ultimatum, Eguma led his side to two successive wins in the 10 weeks old league.
The win has helped Rivers United progress to fifth on the NPFL table, as the El-Kanemi Warriors suffered their sixth defeat of the season.
