Sunshine Stars Techinical Adviser, Solomon Ogbeide, wants his side to continue a push for a continental ticket in the Nigeria Professional Football League.
The Akure club side beat Nasarawa United 3-0 in a rescheduled game at the Akure Township Stadium.
Okiki Afolabi converted a 34th-minute penalty to put the Owena Waves in front before Samad Kadiri made in 2-0 in the 51st minute.
Afolabi completed his brace in the 59th minute to complete a comprehensive win for the hosts.
Sunshine Stars, who have now gone seven games unbeaten, are 12th on the NPFL table while Nasarawa United are 16th.
Meanwhile, Enyimba’s defender Chinedu Udoji, has described the defending champions’ 1-1 draw against Heartland in the oriental derby as a fair game.
The two-time African champions, remain in 19th place on the NPFL standings with 13 points from nine matches.
Enyimba took the lead after 27 minutes through striker Peter Onyekachi while former Enyimba star Ifeanyi Onuigbo got the equaliser in the 31st minute.
