The Super Eagles' forward while in action against the Oluyole Warriors saw his house looted with his boots, watches and gold stolen.
Kano Pillars' Prince Aggreh had his house burgled while he was in action against Shooting Stars in a Nigeria Professional Football League game on Sunday.
Emmanuel Edmund’s hat-trick inspired Sai Masu Gida to a comprehensive 6-0 rout of the Oluyole Warriors at the Sani Abacha Stadium.
And while Kadiri Ikhana’s men were being taught a harsh lesson on the field of play, robbers broke into the Nigeria international’s house and stole his valuables.
“I can’t just explain how it happened. I got home from our game against Shooting Stars to see my doors broken,” Aggreh told Goal.
“I was the only victim as my boots, gold, money and watches were stolen while my roommates were not affected.
“This will not in any way affect me in anyway because my club management has promised to take care of what happened.”
Kano Pillars are fourth on the Nigeria topflight log with 21 points from 12 games and will face Sunshine Stars in Akure as they continue their chase to reclaim their Nigeria topflight diadem lost to Enyimba last season.
