Intense arguments, analysis, commendations and criticisms have trailed the decision of President Muhammadu Buhari, having left some African leaders, guests to observe his Jumat prayers midway into the programme, held at the new Banquet Hall of the Presidential Villa, where they had all gathered to celebrate his inauguration in Abuja, yesterday.
According to reports, Buhari did not return to the venue of the event till the end of the programme.
However, the Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo stood on behalf of the president, gave his remarks and saw some of the prominent leaders off.
