Channels Tv
Kaduna State Governor, Mukhtar Yero, has called for the establishment of a special fund to provide finance for business models designed by young people in the country.

Speaking at a summit organised by the Nigerian Young Professionals Forum held in New York, United States of America, Governor Yero said the future of the country belongs to the youth and hence the need for government at all levels to help the youths to actualise their dreams.
The Governor also tasked young people to acquire skills that will broaden their chances of gainful employment, adding that paper qualification alone can no longer sustain the economy of Nigeria.
Yero further called for the review of the nation’s current education policy, in order to incubate the younger population with technical expertise that will drive the economy of the nation, rather than the youth relying solely on their degrees.

According to the Kaduna state Governor, with the right investment on functional education and youth empowerment, Nigeria and the entire African continent have a bright future of becoming the hub of industrialisation and other economic activities in the world.
