Baby factory syndicate smashed in Akwa-Ibom

Akwa-Ibom - A baby factory where young girls are kept for men to get them pregnant and the children sold after being born was discovered in Akwa-Ibom,Daily Post reports.

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) said over 18 suspects were arrested during a clamp-down on the fake clinic located at Ikot Akpan Abia in Uyo the state capital.

The Commander of the corps, Pedro Ideba, disclosed at the weekend three babies were recovered during the raid.
