“APC would be better without Ikimi”

news24

Benin City -The All Progressives Congress in Edo State on Wednesday said it has not lost anything with the exit of a former leader of the party,Tom Ikimi, reports New Telegraph.

The State Publicity Secretary, Godwin Erahon, who made this known in Benin City, said Ikimi’s exit will pave the way for better reorganisation of the party.

He said that the party was watching carefully the next political move of Ikimi before responding to the issues he raised for withdrawing his membership of the APC.

He describes Ikim’s exit from the party as running away from a crocodile in APC and running into the lion’s den.

He said the former foreign affairs minister’s exit had given the party an avenue to re-strategise at the local level in order to win the forth-coming elections.
